How to find the Excel named range for a secondary database table
One focused task, a quick video, and concise steps you can scan immediately.
The Designer displays the workbook range associated with each secondary database table.
Locate the named range
- Open the application in the Designer.
- Go to the Databases module.
- Find the required secondary table.
- Read the named range shown beneath the table name.
Use that exact range name when comparing the database configuration with the Excel model. If the expected range is missing, review the workbook and database generation settings before changing the table.
